What we collect
The logs for this server record information provided by your browser ('combined format'). This information is used to keep track of traffic, diagnose problems and tune content/performance. Logs will not be made available to third parties unless required by law.
DShield database
Information collected using the DShield system will be made available to the public at no charge. Different reports may be compiled and the raw data will be searchable. We will try to hide destination IPs (i.e, who is being attacked.) Information can be submitted anonymously. You should not submit any information you consider business critical or proprietary.
Cookies
This site uses cookies solely to maintain "state" for login purposes. We do not do any further analysis of cookie information. (Except as may be necessary for security or debugging purposes.) Our advertisers may or may not collect cookie information. We do not receive any cookie information that is collected by our advertisers.
How we use your registration information
We will not sell or otherwise distribute any personal information you submit for registration purposes (i.e., from our "signup" and "login" pages) unless required by law. We will not be selling your email address to third parties (spammers.) Any information you submit is used primarily for identification purposes, to verify that the logs you submit to the DShield database are indeed coming from you. We may use this information for aggregate information purposes. (i.e., "How many people checked the FightBack checkbox?")
